Councillor Mrs Hazel M. Bowker
Hazel was born in Hyde (Tameside) and attended
Hazel has lived in Timperley for 37 years and have lived in Village Ward for 20 years. She is often seen around Timperley with two English Setter dogs.
Having continuously worked with my husband Ray Bowker for at least 20 years she cannot help being steeped in the life of the Community both in Village Ward and in Trafford as a whole.
Hazel also take a great interest in our heritage and wish to see it preserved as with the refurbishment of
Hazel worked for Trafford Social Services for 15 years
During the Millennium Year Ray Bowker and Hazel had the honour of being the Mayor and Mayoress of the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford.
A former Boys’ Brigade officer and Scout Leader covering 20 years in Youth Leadership.
Currently serving on Education and Overview and Scrutiny Sub- Committee and S.A.C.R.E. (Standing Advisory Committee for Religious Education )
